✦ Our Story

You don't have to navigate
this alone.

Sensaroo was created by mothers and professionals who believe support should meet families in real life — and help everyday moments feel more doable.

Caring for a neurodivergent child rarely comes with a clear map.

There are waitlists instead of guidance.

Paperwork instead of clarity.

And the quiet question that follows you into everyday routines — Am I doing enough? Am I doing this right?

You love your child deeply. But the journey can feel isolating.

We kept hearing the same story.

Families are resilient and devoted. Yet the support available to them is often fragmented, delayed, or difficult to navigate.

Even the most capable caregivers can feel overwhelmed trying to piece together what works — in the moments that matter most.

We believed there had to be a better way.

Sensaroo was created by three women who understood this from different angles — as mothers, as professionals, and as members of the same community.

Each of us saw the same truth:

  • Support should meet families where they are.
  • It should feel structured, practical, and deeply human.
  • And it should help turn everyday moments into meaningful progress.

The People Behind Sensaroo

Portrait of Amanda Chawla

Co-Founder | Systems & Family Access

Amanda Chawla

Amanda brings more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience across strategy, operations, and care coordination. She has led large-scale systems within Stanford Medicine, including Stanford Children's, where she focused on building models that function reliably in real-world conditions.

Her work is grounded in one central question: How do we design systems that actually support families when they need it most?

Amanda's commitment to Sensaroo is also deeply personal. As a mother navigating her own child's evolving communication needs, she experienced firsthand how fragmented and difficult early support can feel — even with insider knowledge. That gap between expertise and lived reality became the catalyst for Sensaroo.

At Sensaroo, Amanda ensures that compassionate support is not just an idea, but something structured, accessible, and built to scale for families who need it most.

Above all, Megan is a practitioner who has worked directly with over 100 children with autism across family, clinic, and school settings.

Portrait of Anin Choudhary

Co-Founder | Technology, Design & Experience

Anin Choudhary

Anin is a Design Technologist and Research Leader with over fifteen years of experience building human-centered systems grounded in real-world needs. Her work focuses on translating complexity into clarity and reducing friction during vulnerable moments.

As a mother and an aunt to a child on the autism spectrum, Anin has seen how overwhelming early navigation can feel. She believes support should feel structured without being rigid, thoughtful without being complicated, and compassionate without being overwhelming.

At Sensaroo, Anin shapes how research, technology, and day-to-day execution come together — ensuring families experience support that feels seamless, trustworthy, and deeply human.

Portrait of Jill Neri

Communication & Parent Coaching

Jill Neri

Jill has spent nearly two decades supporting neurodiverse children and their families through play-based engagement and functional communication. She studied psychology and American Sign Language and brings a strength-based, inclusive approach to everyday communication.

Throughout her career, Jill has walked alongside hundreds of parents, helping them build confidence in daily routines and meaningful interactions.

A mother of two and the ninth of ten siblings, Jill's experience growing up in a large family — and as an aunt and great-aunt to many — shaped her deep understanding that every child and family is unique. Her advocacy for children who struggle to communicate continues to deepen as she witnesses families gain confidence and children find their voices.

Certified in Pivotal Response Training, Jill leads Sensaroo's individualized planning and parent coaching approach — translating evidence-informed practices into practical, doable guidance for families.

Our Principles

What We Believe

Caregivers are the constant.

No matter how support systems change, you remain the most powerful force in your child's life.

Support should fit real life.

Guidance only works when it works in your home, your schedule, your reality.

Tools and guidance should evolve together.

As your child grows, so should the support. We design for the long journey.

Connection builds confidence.

When families feel seen and understood, they move forward with more certainty — and less fear.

A New Kind of Support

Sensaroo was created to bring structure and clarity into everyday life — not to replace caregivers, but to strengthen them.

We believe support works best when it is individualized, practical, and rooted in real moments at home. When guidance fits naturally into routines, progress feels possible.

You don't have to piece this together on your own.
